NXI-6200/6201
NXI-6200/6201 Analog Output
Isolated 4-channel analog output modules NXI-6200/6201 for precise sensor simulation.
The NXI-6200 and NXI-6201 analog output modules provide four isolated channels for high-precision signal generation. The NXI-6200 model covers voltage ranges of ±10V and currents up to 20mA, whereas the NXI-6201 specializes in voltages up to ±5V and higher currents up to ±200mA. Featuring a 16-bit resolution, these modules achieve a voltage accuracy as high as 0.01% + 0.01% F.S.. Each channel can be independently configured for either voltage or current output. A fast set-up time of 100µs facilitates dynamic simulations in real-time environments. Communication is flexibly handled via LAN or CAN interfaces using Modbus-RTU or SCPI protocols. Typical applications include shunt and Hall effect sensor simulation as well as testing in BMS and ATE systems. The modules require a 12V DC power supply and are designed for use in NXI-F chassis or independent operation.

NXI-6200 / NXI-6201 – Modular Analog Output Modules for High-Precision Signal Simulation in Test Engineering
The NXI-6200 and NXI-6201 modules are designed for demanding test automation, hardware-in-the-loop simulations and industrial test environments. As high-precision 16-bit analog output modules with four galvanically isolated channels, they provide a stable and precisely controllable signal source for laboratory, development and production applications.
The key advantage lies in the combination of high signal accuracy, isolated channels and the modular NXI system architecture. This allows precise voltage and current signals to be generated reproducibly and with low interference, even in complex test systems.
The series is ideal for applications where analog sensor signals need to be simulated, measurement systems calibrated or automated test sequences implemented with high repeatability.
Key Advantages
Typical Applications
The NXI-6200 and NXI-6201 modules are suitable for precise analog signal simulation in development, quality assurance and automated test engineering.
Emulation of shunt resistors, Hall sensors and other analog sensor signals for HiL and test systems.
Simulation of cell voltages and currents for validating monitoring, diagnostic and balancing algorithms.
Integration as a programmable reference source in automated production and quality assurance lines.
High-precision source for testing, adjustment and verification of data acquisition and measurement systems.
Reproducible analog signal output for time-critical and realistic simulation environments.
Suitable for specialized test tasks in automotive technology, energy applications and other industrial processes.
Functional and System Description
The modules support both constant voltage source operation and constant current source operation and are designed for maximum interoperability in automated environments.
Key Technical Data
Variants and Configuration Options
The series is available in two main variants to optimally cover different requirements for signal range, current interface and precision.
Optimized for standard industrial signals with voltage ranges up to ±10 V as well as 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA for classic process and sensor simulations.
Particularly suitable for general analog simulations, industrial control signals and classic test tasks in laboratory and production environments.
Specialized for small signals and higher currents with ±5 V, ±200 mV and ±200 mA for high-precision shunt and Hall sensor simulations.
The dedicated ±200 mV range enables precise small-signal simulation without loss of accuracy caused by unnecessarily large voltage ranges.
Integration and Automation
The NXI modules can be seamlessly integrated into modern software and test bench architectures and support standardized programming without proprietary dependencies.
Strategic Value
The NXI-6200 and NXI-6201 modules provide a future-proof platform for high-precision analog simulation in industrial test and automation environments. With isolated channels, low temperature coefficients and standardized interfaces, they enable stable, reproducible and easy-to-maintain system solutions.
The modular chassis concept allows the number of channels to be expanded step by step and protects long-term investments when test requirements grow or system architectures are extended.
