High-power DC load for dynamic testing of power supplies and energy systems.
The N68000 series is a programmable high-power DC electronic load offering power ranges from 2.4 kW up to 14.4 kW, voltages up to 1000 V, and currents up to 1200 A, designed for demanding R&D, validation, and production testing environments. With operating modes CC, CV, CR, and CP, it enables precise simulation of a wide range of load conditions for modern power electronics. Functions such as dynamic mode (TRAN), sequence testing, charge/discharge testing, OCP testing, and optional ESR measurement allow realistic test scenarios for DC-DC converters, chargers, power supplies, battery systems, automotive electronics, and energy storage applications. Programmable slew rates and fast transient response ensure accurate and repeatable dynamic testing. High power density, comprehensive protection functions (OCP/OVP/OPP/OTP), and LAN, RS232, and CAN interfaces make the series easy to integrate into automated test benches and ATE systems. Its modular design also supports simplified maintenance and scalable power expansion.

For dynamic testing, the TRAN mode provides three specific operating modes for time-accurate simulation of transient load profiles.
Continuous switching between two load values based on defined pulse widths from 0.025 ms to 60,000 ms.

Switching between the main and transient load value with every incoming trigger pulse.
