Our history

From low-power electronics to complete high-power systems

ET System emerged from ELBA Electric GmbH, founded in 1975. Building on this experience with power supplies, power electronics and DC/DC converters, ET System electronic GmbH was founded in 1986. This marked the beginning of the development and sale of its own devices in the lower power range.

Over the years, existing device generations have been continuously refined and the portfolio has expanded to include increasingly powerful solutions. Today, we combine in-house development and manufacturing with a strong partner portfolio and custom system integration.

We have partnered with BriPower since 2014 and with NGI since 2023. Alongside our own product series, this enables us to offer bidirectional, regenerative and custom solutions extending into the high megawatt range.

Manufacturer

Our DC power supply series LAB/HP and LAB/SMP, as well as our linear AC power sources EAC-S and EAC-3S, are developed and manufactured in Germany. On request, we also integrate these devices into custom cabinets and complete systems.

Partner & Distributor

Products from BriPower and NGI complement our portfolio. These devices are manufactured by our partners and distributed, technically supported and serviced by ET System.

Integration & Service

For all products in our portfolio, we provide technical service, manufacturer-level repairs and system integration in Germany. We integrate both ET System devices and partner products into custom cabinets and complete test systems.

In-house development in Germany

The LAB/HP, LAB/SMP, EAC-S and EAC-3S series are developed and manufactured by ET System in Germany.

Our own product range is complemented by selected devices from our long-standing partners BriPower and NGI. This allows us to cover a broader power range and assemble the right solution for different requirements.

One point of contact for the complete solution: ET System provides consulting, demo units, technical qualification, system integration, service and repairs in Germany – for both our own devices and partner products.
