ASR-3000 Series: Programmable AC/DC Power Supply for Precision Grid Simulation in R&D and Quality Assurance

The ASR-3000 series is a versatile AC/DC power supply for realistic simulation of grid conditions in research, development, and industrial quality assurance. It supports AC, DC, and AC+DC operation, making it ideal for validating electronic components under dynamic and internationally relevant supply conditions.

A key advantage of the series is its full DC power capability with a 1:1 power ratio, meaning that in DC mode the same rated power is available as in AC operation.

This enables demanding test tasks, standards-compliant grid simulations, and reproducible fault scenarios to be implemented with high precision and process reliability.

Key Advantages

Full DC Power Capability
In DC mode, the same rated power is available as in AC operation, without the typical power derating.
Frequency Range up to 5000Hz
Ideal for simulating high-frequency onboard power disturbances and specialized test requirements in avionics and marine applications.
THD below 0.2%
Thanks to a two-stage Pi filter architecture, the system delivers exceptionally clean output voltage at 50/60Hz for precise pre-compliance testing.
Crest Factor 6
High inrush current capability for reliable characterization of loads with pronounced current peaks, such as rectifier loads.
Arbitrary Generator
16 memory slots for user-defined arbitrary waveforms enable reproducible fault simulations and transient grid scenarios.
Ultra-Low Frequencies
In AC+DC mode, frequencies from as low as 1Hz are possible to simulate extremely slow grid fluctuations.

Typical Applications

The ASR-3000 series is suitable for test tasks where power quality, immunity, and reproducible supply scenarios play a central role.

?
Simulation of Complex Grid Disturbances

Testing voltage dips, swells, and interruptions to replicate unstable power infrastructures.
